REFUELHER WELLNESS EXPERIENCE

When Quinnise Pettway began planning the RefuelHER Wellness Experience, she had a powerful vision, a venue, speakers, and content ideas—but needed support transforming the concept into a professional, launch-ready event.


The Way Up Creative Group partnered with RefuelHER to develop the event's brand identity, attendee-facing messaging, and digital experience. Our team provided event strategy, messaging refinement, website planning, registration flow guidance, workshop naming support, and branding development to help create a cohesive experience from discovery through registration.


Services included event branding, logo design, website structure planning, copy editing, messaging development, registration flow consulting, workshop positioning, FAQ development, and event launch support.


As a result, the event launched with a clear brand identity, professional online presence, streamlined attendee experience, and messaging that effectively communicated the event's purpose. The event was successfully executed and established a foundation for future annual growth.

Since 2021, The Way Up Creative Group has supported Seasons of Change, Inc. through strategic public relations, event marketing, community engagement, and visibility initiatives designed to increase awareness and participation across multiple states.


Seasons of Change hosts numerous community-focused events and programs throughout the year, serving families and individuals through outreach, education, support services, and resource distribution efforts. As the organization expanded, consistent communications and media visibility became essential to reaching the communities it serves.


Our team developed and executed communications strategies that included media outreach, press release writing and distribution, event promotion, community engagement messaging, stakeholder communications, social media support, and founder visibility initiatives.


Over the course of the partnership, The Way Up Creative Group has supported more than 30 community events and initiatives across Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, including Christmas Collaboganza, Community Baby Shower Tours, Mother's Day and Father's Day events, Project Leroy, and additional seasonal outreach programs.


Media coverage generated through these efforts has included placements and visibility opportunities through NBC 5 DFW, CBS News Texas, Telemundo 39, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Dallas Weekly, the City of Arlington, Spectrum News, and other regional media outlets.

EVENT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

REDBIRD 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The RedBird 50th Anniversary Celebration was a large-scale, multi-day community event designed to honor five decades of impact while engaging residents, sponsors, community leaders, performers, and stakeholders through multiple experiences across a single celebration weekend.


Planned and executed within approximately 7.5 weeks, the event required extensive coordination across sponsors, vendors, volunteers, entertainment, community organizations, and event leadership teams.


The Way Up Creative Group provided event management and operational support, serving as a key coordination point between the Event Director, partners, volunteers, vendors, and production teams. Our role focused on creating structure, maintaining communication, and ensuring alignment across all event components.


Services included run-of-show development, event operations management, timeline creation, vendor coordination, volunteer management, seating plans, floor plans, registration flow planning, stakeholder communications, logistics coordination, talent support, data management systems, operational checklists, and event materials development.


The celebration included the RedBird Run + Fun 5K, Reunion Block Party, and Gospel Brunch, collectively serving more than 1,200 attendees. All featured events reached capacity, and the celebration successfully delivered a cohesive experience despite an accelerated planning timeline and significant operational complexity.

Large-scale events require more than technical equipment and vendors—they require clear communication, strong leadership, and operational coordination to ensure every moving part works together seamlessly.


The Way Up Creative Group provides event production management and operational oversight for conferences, galas, awards programs, concerts, corporate meetings, nonprofit events, and community experiences.
