Tracee T. Holloway, CEO of the Way Up Creative Group, is a value-driven professional woman of many hats. She is a master communicator who knows how to drive messages to the heart. She helps brands create effective messaging, then uses traditional and digital marketing strategies to help them spread the word. Tracee's faith-based approach to branding and communication helps her provide clients with tools to achieve long-term success over time.
Recently awarded the 2022 Alignable® Local Business Person of the Year Award for Mansfield, Texas, Holloway applies three core values to every aspect of her life and business: Creativity, Excellence, and Success.
Tracee is a magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a minor in Speech and Drama. She is an advocate for social and emotional wellness, opportunity equity, and education who often donates consulting time to support various causes for families and children.
She is passionate about consulting in creative spaces and helping take ideas from concept to reality for projects that make a difference to many people at once.
Coming from a long line of women business owners, Tracee has always had entrepreneurial blood in her veins. As a freelance editorial and public relations (PR) consultant, she operated her first business (T. Jackson PR) from 2005 to 2022. She currently serves as Executive Director of Communications for Heart Tones™, a literary arts ministry, where she supports its national initiative to address advance care planning (ACP) healthcare disparities in the Black community. She is also an advisory board member and media advisor to a nonprofit children's clothing bank in Dallas, Texas called Carter's House.
In 2021, she founded The Way Up Creative Group LLC, an integrated marketing communications agency dedicated to helping small businesses and brands elevate their messaging in the marketplace via coaching, strategy, and content consulting.
In the past two decades, she has worked in radio, TV, media, journalism, theatre, music, podcasts, and streaming show production. She has professionally managed publications and conducted PR and communications campaigns for small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. She is also a published editor and proofreader, and a ghostwriter of various content for authors, creatives, and C-level executives, including articles, blogs, and books. In addition to onsite media coordination, she has helped clients plan a variety of events from celebrations to launches to workshops.
Tracee enjoys live music with friends, traveling to new places, and family time with her husband and children when she's not working. When asked how she does it "all," she chuckles and answers, "Only God knows." Tracee loves the anonymous quote, "I've learned that every working mom is a Supermom," and proudly claims the "S" on her chest.
